Fly in a P-51 Mustang Isle of Man

P-51 Mustang and Spitfire

We are delighted to announce that, following our return to the Isle of Man this August, we’ll be offering unforgettable Fly in a P-51 Mustang from Isle of Man  Ronaldsway Airport.

Available from 17th to 19th August, our iconic 1944 P-51 Mustang, Moonbeam McSwine, will join our Spitfire for three days of exclusive flight experiences. Guests can choose from our 35-minute Mustang Experience, offering a truly unique opportunity to fly in one of history’s most legendary fighter aircraft.

Unlike our dual-control Spitfire, the Mustang features a passenger seat positioned directly behind the pilot within the same cockpit, beneath the famous bubble canopy. This provides an authentic perspective and an immersive flying experience, giving you a real sense of what it was like to fly in a Mustang during the Second World War.

Once airborne, you’ll experience the incredible performance that made the Mustang famous. If you’re feeling adventurous, your pilot can demonstrate exhilarating manoeuvres such as steep turns and the iconic victory roll.

During your 35-minute flight, you can enjoy spectacular views of the Isle of Man’s dramatic coastline, which stretches for more than 100 miles, or choose a completely bespoke route. None of our flights follow a fixed itinerary, allowing you to tailor your experience—whether that’s flying over your home, a favourite landmark, or simply taking in the island’s breathtaking scenery. Your entire flight will be captured using on-board cameras, with the footage included at no additional cost.

After landing and taxiing back to base, you’ll have the opportunity to take photographs alongside the aircraft with your guests, creating lasting memories of your experience. You’ll also receive a commemorative gift pack, including Mustang Pilot’s Notes, an aircrew patch, and a personalised flight certificate.

Fly in a P-51 Mustang over the Isle of Man is an experience unlike any other. With limited availability across just three days, places are expected to fill quickly.

Bookings are now open—don’t miss this rare opportunity to fly in an authentic P-51 Mustang over the spectacular Isle of Man.
