Add a Hurricane , Spitfire or Mustang Wingman

All Biggin Hill 2 Seat Spitfire flights can add a ‘Wingman Upgrade’ where you’ll be joined in the skies by one of our pilots in a Single seat Warbird.

Choose between a Battle of Britain Era 1940 Hurricane X, the legendary American P-51 Mustang fighter or experience flying with 1944 Spitfire IX ‘Spirit of Kent’.

The aircraft will fly in a variety of classic escort formations and also ‘follow the leader’ with the chance to be the leader or chase aircraft.

Wingman flights can also be combined with our chase plane so your friends and family can join your 2 Seat Spitfire and a classic WWII Warbird in flight.

As with all our two Seat Spitfire experiences you’ll have a full pre-flight brief with your pilot before our ground crew strap you into the Spitfire rear cockpit. Your Spitfire ride will then begin as you taxi out for departure on Biggin Hill runway 03/21. Your Wingman aircraft will usually depart soon after and then join you over the skies of Kent to form a pair.

Various flight durations are available to book so you can choose to enjoy a local formation , or for longer flights you can elect to have your accompanying Spitfire/Hurricane/Mustang fly with you to the coast.
