FLY around The Isle of Man in a P-51 Mustang

Mustang 35 minute ‘Isle Of Man Airport’ Flight

Hear the roar of the Packard-built Merlin engine echo across the tarmac as this gleaming silver and blue P-51D Mustang taxiis to the runway at Ronaldsway Isle of Man Airport. Nestled in the cockpit behind the pilot, you’ll feel the vibration of raw power beneath you — a reminder of the aircraft’s legendary WWII heritage.

Cruising at an altitude of around 2000ft the view from the bubble canopy is breathtaking. Every manoeuvre—whether a gentle turn or a victory roll is a testament to the Mustang’s agility and engineering brilliance. This isn’t just a ride; it’s a journey through time, aboard one of the most iconic fighters ever built.

This 1944 P-51D carries the markings of ‘Moonbeam McSwine’ as flown by USAF triple ace pilot William Thomas Whisner Jr .
