HANGAR TOURS

Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar

The Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar is a restoration facility dedicated to putting Spitfires back in the air.

 

Up to 13 Spitfires on site we have a 1940 Hawker Hurricane and Battle of Britain veteran Messerschmitt 109 are on view. The tour includes the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of a Spitfire.

OUR WARTIME HEROES

MJ627 and MJ772 were built at Castle Bromwich in 1943 and are both original WW2 combat veteran aircraft.

 

MJ627 destroyed a Messerschmitt Bf109 over Arnhem, while MJ772 was active over the Normandy beaches on D-Day. You can read their individual stories via the links above.
