We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the team at Fly a Spitfire — home of unforgettable Spitfire experiences!

Whether you enjoy meeting people, supporting events, or helping behind the scenes, this is your chance to contribute to preserving an iconic piece of aviation heritage.
No flying experience required — just bring your energy and teamwork!

As a volunteer, you’ll play an important part in helping us deliver Spitfire flights and tours. Typical duties include:

• Welcoming visitors and giving tours of our facility
• Cleaning and housekeeping to keep our aircraft, hangars and guest areas looking their best
• Assisting Spitfire passengers on the ground before and after their flight
• Help with ‘Strapping in’ and aircraft ground operations
• Escorting friends and family safely in live aircraft areas
•  Supporting events and helping create an amazing customer experience

We’re particularly interested if you have weekend availability and/or experience in working in airfield environments.

If you’re a school leaver or university graduate, this is a fantastic way to gain hands‑on experience in the aviation industry — perfect for building confidence, learning operational procedures, and getting involved in a real working airfield environment.
