65 Minute ‘WWII Airfields’ Spitfire Flight
Take off from an Ex RAF station- RAF Horsham St Faith and fly over some of the historic WWII airfields of Norfolk.
Your Spitfire sortie could take in the old WWII stations at Seething, Halesworth, Eye, Knettishall, Old Buckenham, North Pickenham and Marham. RAF Swanton Morley or bomber commands West Raynham are also close by. RAF Sculthorpe is still used as an MOD training facility with the runways and hardstandings clearly visible from your viewpoint at 2000ft. The sleepy sounding RAF Little Snoring used to operate Mosquitos and Lancaster bombers but is now home to light aviation and microlights.
This ‘WWII Airfields’ Spitfire flight experience is available on selected dates weather permitting and includes 55 minutes airborne time in the Spitfire.
