45 Minute ‘Nelson’s Monument’ Spitfire Flight
This 45 Minute Spitfire flight departing from The Saxon Air facility at Norwich airport provides the opportunity to enjoy the best of the Norfolk Coastline as well as discovering what the inside of a Spitfire cockpit looks like in flight.
You’ll discuss your preferred flight route with your pilot during a pre flight briefing. A popular option is to head East from Norwich Airport, reaching the coastline near Hemsby and then heading South. You’ll see beautiful beaches and coastal towns including Caister on Sea then onto Great Yarmouth with the distinctive venetian waterways, Britannia Pier, the roller coasters at the pleasure beach and finally Nelsons Monument standing 144ft high.
Your journey continues South to Lowestoft, Kessingland and Southwold with it’s 190m Pier. You can then trace your way back Northwards giving you views of the coast over your port Spitfire wing.
