35 Minute ‘Vale of White Horse’ Spitfire Flight
Ride in the rear seat of a 2 Seat Spitfire from Blackbushe Airport and head West into the North Wessex Downs.
This area of outstanding Natural Beauty is just one of the routes you can choose on this 35 Minute Spitfire experience.
If you do choose this option you’ll be able to fly over Uffington Castle hillfort and see the Uffington White Horse clearly visble in white chalk in the side of Dragon Hill.
Other local landmarks include Waylands Smithy and Ashdown, a unique Dutch style house on the Berkshire Downs. But of course, you may be too busy enjoying the growl of the Merlin Engine and the view of the famous elliptical wing of your Spitfire as you cruise gracefully along at 200mph.
